Jumping
for Joy is
a hard working team of boys and girls who have dedicated themselves
to the sport of competitive jump rope. The current team is comprised
of 25 members ranging from age 9 to 18 years.
Team
members of Jumping for Joy, which was founded in 1990, have competed,
performed and taught jump rope throughout the United States,
as well as in Australia, the Azores, Belgium, Canada, Denmark,
England, Japan, Korea, Mexico, the Netherlands, Spain and Sweden.
Over the past 17 years, Jumping for
Joy has produced numerous regional, National and World Champions
as well as record holders in Single Rope and Double Dutch speed
events. |

Most
recently a Silver medal in the Canada 2006 World Championship,
Gold Medal in the
Australia 2004 World Championship and the Belgium 2002 World
Championship.
Jumping for Joy
has delighted thousands of spectators with their individual and
group performances throughout the years. In addition, members
of Jumping for Joy have been featured in commercials, movies
and television shows – most notably, Adam Sandler’s
Anger Management, ABC’s Life With Bonnie Show, and The Wayne
Brady Show.
Jumping for Joy's
home base is in Santa Clara, CA. The team practices their skills
